If a chat visitor introduced itself as AI check by Straight Answer, that was us. Here is what it was, what it sent and what you can do now.
An AI agent of Straight Answer opened the live-chat widget on your website and started a conversation. Where the widget asked for a name, it entered AI check by Straight Answer. Where it asked for an e-mail, it used an address of ours created for that one check. Its first message said that the conversation was an AI check, and then it asked a question a customer of your kind of business would ask — about a service, a price range, availability or the next step.
It did not pretend to be a person. It used no invented name or personal story. If someone on your team asked whether it was a bot, it said yes in one line and continued with the question. If a person joined after a chatbot, it repeated in one line that it was an AI check.
The check records what any visitor would see: how long the first reply took, whether a person joined, whether the question was answered, whether a next step was offered and how clear the replies were. The rules behind each score are public in the methodology. A low score is not a judgment of your business as a whole; it describes one conversation on one day, with the quotes that support it.
If you want to keep the report and see the full dialog, open the link from the chat and claim it. You will confirm that you own the domain — the same verification our customers use — and the report moves into your private account. Claiming is free.
